Almost There!

June 30th, 2026 - Minecraft News

It’s already the end of June, and FredCentre Mini SMP is about to launch! We’ve added, edited, and tested the game many times to ensure the best possible player experience.

When you connect to the server, you’ll be prompted to register an account (if you’ve already registered, just log in). After logging in or registering, you’ll be taken to the lobby, where you can do various things, such as entering the Season 2 world, entering the Season 1 world, accessing the Shop, and more. You can access the world menu by right-clicking the “Menu” NPC in the lobby or by entering the command /menu. If you want to return to the lobby, simply type the command /lobby (Note: This command will not work if you are currently in the Season 1 world).

The Shop is available, but where is the Auction House “/ah”? Features such as the Auction House and Clans are currently unavailable. We are working hard to add these features in the coming days.

We apologize for the delay; we are doing our best to ensure everyone has a great experience. We’ll let you know if there are any updates!

Best regards.

FredCentre Mini SMP to Launch in Late June

June 12th, 2026 - Minecraft News

Hello, members of the FredCentre Mini SMP community. It seems you’ve been eagerly awaiting a small-scale SMP server tailored for this smaller group of players! We are currently working hard to develop the server to provide players with the most complete experience possible. The server will be divided into two distinct worlds: Season II represents the new server, featuring standout features inspired by larger servers; Season I represents the old server, where everything remains exactly as it was before. Currently, Season I is complete thanks to the use of a backup from the old server, while Season II is still under development.

FredCentre Mini SMP will be upgraded to version 26.1.2 (the latest version of Minecraft as of now). And you can definitely use the Voice Chat mod if you want to communicate via voice chat. And if you’re wondering whether the server has microtransactions, the answer is no—but that doesn’t mean the server won’t use this model to generate revenue in the future. When the server launches, everything will be free, and there will be no pay-to-win items or privileges whatsoever.

Thank you for your patience; we’ll notify you of any updates as soon as they’re available. Please join our Discord server to connect with the FredCentre fan community and other FredCentre Mini SMP players: https://discord.gg/fWnVPFtAeR

The Quality of Life Update

May 30th, 2026 - Roblox News

Here it is! The update for the game where you have to escape from a moving picture has finally arrived. After 211 days, the fourth major update has arrived, titled “Quality of Life Update.” This update compiles various patches and bug fixes for the game. Since Roblox has changed significantly, the game has developed more bugs and required updates. The reason this update took so long to release is that the game’s code was originally written in a disorganized manner (spaghetti code), making it very difficult to debug and maintain—fearing that fixing one bug might introduce another. But we didn’t give up and released this update on the release date of the Backrooms movie (one day late, but that’s okay).

Here are the notable changes included in this 1.4 Quality of Life update:

- Added a survival time leaderboard. The player list now includes two additional columns: longest survival time and current survival time

- Added a new achievement: King of The Backrooms (Become the player with the longest survival time; not awarded when playing on a private server)

- Redesigned the “portals” for teleporting to the next level

- Player avatars now face the direction the player is looking

- Changed the sound effect for achievement notifications

- Hidden all spawn locations

- Expanded the safe zone in certain levels

- Removed the portal to the 2025 Halloween event

- Added a main menu to the game

+ Click “PLAY GAME” to go to Level 0 (the starting level)

+ Click “CREDITS” to view the closing message from FredCentre Software

- Removed the loading screen in Level 0

- The sound that plays when the player dies now plays immediately (unlike before, when it played about 1 second after death)

- Fixed an issue where certain materials didn’t produce any footstep sounds when standing up

- Fixed a controller malfunction when playing on PC (The bug prevented players from moving using the left stick)

- Disabled auto-jump on the mobile version

- Version and Build numbers will only be displayed in the Menu, not in other Levels

- Fixed an issue where nextbots were missing their images in Level 1 and Level 3

- Removed the Rick Roll poster from the secret room in Level 5

- Completely hide the teleportation portal to the secret level in Level 2

SOME ISSUES

- Ragdoll physics will no longer function due to a conflict with the “Follow Head” feature (Feature #4 mentioned above)

- Nextbots' pathfinding does not work very well (this bug has existed since the game's release)

- The survival time list at Level 0 may not function correctly

Version: 1.4

The Winner of 'More Hat Giveaway'

May 4th, 2026 - Event

Hello, it’s me again. My beach vacation has come to an end, and it’s time to announce the winner of the “More Hat Giveaway” event.

To be transparent, I recorded the lucky draw video as a private video. Whichever link is selected, I’ll send the prize to that link. Click here to watch

WHAT I WANT TO SAY

Next week I’ll be taking my final exams, so I might not be very active for a while, but after the exams, I’ll be back, focusing on making videos and updating you all. And regarding Backrooms nextbots and FredCentre Mini SMP—I’m sure you’ve all been waiting for me to release the patch, right? I’ll release it this summer, very soon.

More Hat Giveaway

April 28th, 2026 - Event

Hello, everyone. It’s been a while since we’ve had a giveaway, hasn’t it? My first giveaway, called the “Hat Giveaway,” actually attracted quite a few participants. To celebrate FredCentre’s Discord server reaching 100 members, I’m going to host another giveaway for everyone—it’s been a while since I’ve done one, so I figured I’d go ahead and do it.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

The participation process is the same as the previous giveaway event (I’ll explain it here in case you’re not familiar). All you need to do is send your Steam Trade Offer link via ticket, email, DM, or any other method you can think of—but I recommend creating a ticket and sending your Steam Trade Offer link that way. Why a Steam Trade Offer link? It’s the only way to send items to other players on Steam. If you don’t send it, or send the wrong one, or win but I can’t send it to you—what then?

If you don’t know where to find it, click this link

REWARDS

1. The Slo-Poke

2. The Pardner's Pompadour

The event will run from April 28 to May 3, so join quickly so you don’t miss out!
