Wallpaper Fest

August 25th, 2026 - Event

Hello. Another event, huh? Today’s event will be a little different from the ones I’ve organized in the past. Today’s event is about… wallpapers? I know I’m pretty bored to be putting on an event like this, but hear me out. If you don’t know, both my laptop and phone have pretty boring wallpapers (CachyOS uses some Nordic-style wallpapers, while iOS uses a wallpaper featuring my own logo). So I’ve gathered you all here, artists who are bored and don’t know what to do, to help me create wallpapers for these two devices. And of course, there will be a prize for the selected wallpaper. But to make it more interesting, I’ll split it into two prizes:

First, a prize for the selected laptop wallpaper (minimum resolution required: 1920x1080, or Full HD). Second, a prize for the selected phone wallpaper (minimum resolution of 1170x2532). The wallpapers always have a slightly darker color scheme because I don’t want to strain my eyes. Each prize is 25,000 VND (or 1 USD). If you win both the phone and computer wallpaper contests, you’ll receive 50,000 VND (or 2 USD).

How to enter? Since wallpapers usually have high resolutions, sending them via Discord is pretty much impossible due to file size limits. So, you can upload it to a cloud storage service and share the link with me. Where should you share the link? On my Discord server, of course. Just create a ticket and send the link, that’s it (if you have Nitro, you can send it directly without using a cloud service).

Additional information: The background image must be related to the FredCentre brand (such as featuring the FredCentre mascot or the Fred logo). You cannot submit random background images that you think might be suitable for me. If you’re not sure where to start, this GitHub page will help you: https://github.com/FredCentre/wallpapers

The event will run from August 26 through September 2, so be sure to join us soon. And if you know a friend who’s talented at drawing or design, don’t forget to invite them too, so no one misses out!

Announcement Regarding the Closure of the FredCentre Mini SMP Server

August 25th, 2026 - Minecraft News

FredCentre Mini SMP began with a simple idea: to connect the FredCentre fan community within the world of Minecraft. And FredCentre Mini SMP Season II... was based on that same idea. However, I had been thinking about turning it into a much more competitive server. I started renting the server in May. My original plan was to create a server where players would fight each other for survival (similar to Rust). But the idea I’d been nurturing for so long failed, and I had to take a more “backup” and “safe” route. Since economy-based servers are the new trend among SMP servers today, I decided to follow that trend as well. I spent an entire month setting up the server myself, from the core system to implementing features and ensuring smooth operation. The server relaunched in early July with several shortcomings, but I’ve been gradually improving it.

However, while creating a server is difficult, maintaining it for the long term is even harder. I made too many mistakes by not updating or paying attention to the server often enough, which led to the server having to “fend for itself” while I was away. Also, since this isn’t a self-hosted server but one rented from a third party, all DDoS issues are handled by them. I have no control over them.

The FredCentre Mini SMP server cluster will be phased out gradually. Starting with the Legacy server, which will shut down on August 28, and the main server, which will shut down on September 12. All items on the server will be 25% off starting today until the server closes. So, if you can, make the most of your final moments on this server before it closes permanently.

Another Hat Giveaway

August 17th, 2026 - Event

It's been a long period of time since I hosted a giveaway event, right? Some people started to beg me to host a giveaway event, and I did! "Another Hat Giveaway", yeah, that's the name, and don't complain anything about it, please, is another hat giveaway event. The participation is simple like the previous event. All you have to do is send your Steam Trade Offer (which can be obtained here) in a ticket created in my Discord Server, and you're all set. And guess what? International viewers can participate in this event too! The event will be held for a week, from August 17th to August 24th. After the event ends, FredCentre will choose THREE winners (the first winner will pick the reward they prefer, then the second will choose the "remaining" reward, and the last winner will hold the "last" reward). And remember to share this with your friends so they don't miss out!

FredCentre Week

July 15th, 2026 - Event

Hello, it’s me again. As you know, every year on my birthday, I host a small event so you can all join in the fun with me. But this year, 2026, there will be a slight change from last year, and I’m calling this event “FredCentre Week.” The event will run from today, July 15, through July 18.

Since this is an “all-in-one event,” here’s what’s in store:

FREDCENTRE WEEK SALE (up to 50% off) AT FREDCENTRE MINI SMP

That’s right. Right now, ALL items in FredCentre Mini SMP are 50% off. Now that even the most expensive items are half price, you can easily get your hands on them! Resale prices will remain unchanged. The sale runs through July 18, so hurry and join in to collect as many items as possible!

FREDCENTRE’S BIRTHDAY: DEFINITIVE EDITION IS NOW BACK

Every year, FredCentre’s Birthday: Definitive Edition gets a fresh new look. But this year, since Roblox has made significant changes to its platform, FCB:DE may not receive any major updates in the future. That’s right, the game that’s been running for so many years has finally come to a halt at version 4.0. In exchange, I’ll keep the game open year-round. You can jump into the game whenever you want without worrying about it shutting down or anything like that.

That’s what I wanted to share at today’s event. I hope everyone has a great time at this somewhat unique event.
