March 22nd, 2025 - General News
The story outlines the rise and fall of a group called Magic Team, formed by FredCentre and my friend Giro, and its eventual replacement with a new group, Evonos Team. Here’s a breakdown of what happened:
1. Pre-Magic Team (Panda Team Era):
- Before Magic Team, FredCentre and Giro formed a group called Panda Team in the fall of 2019.
- It was a fun time initially, but the outbreak of COVID-19 in early 2020 strained relationships within the group, causing it to falter.
2. Formation of Magic Team:
- On September 21, 2021, Giro founded Magic Team to rekindle the friendships that had weakened during the pandemic.
- The group enjoyed spending time together daily, and everything seemed to be going well.
3. Friendship Breakdown:
- By September 2022, tensions between FredCentre and Giro escalated, leading FredCentre to leave the group and end your friendship with him for nearly a year. This marked a significant rift in the team’s dynamic.
4. Reconciliation:
- In the summer of 2023, Giro apologized to FredCentre (despite FredCentre feeling FredCentre was the one at fault), and FredCentre rejoined Magic Team, though in a reduced role as an "assistant" rather than deputy leader. While FredCentre and Giro became close again, the friendship wasn’t as strong as before, with interactions limited mostly to summers and less personal engagement (e.g., he stopped visiting FredCentre’s house).
5. Decline and Giro’s Account Issue:
- Over time, Magic Team’s activity dwindled, and by early 2025, it had been inactive for over five months. In February 2025, Giro decided to sell his Garena account for money but accidentally sold his Google account too, losing access to both. This likely impacted his ability to stay connected or manage the group.
6. Disbandment and New Beginnings:
- On March 18, 2025, FredCentre and Giro agreed to disband the Magic Team due to its inactivity and Giro's inability to manage the group.
- They formed a new group called Evonos Team, with FredCentre taking over as the leader since Giro could no longer fulfill that role.
- FredCentre hopes Evonos Team will carry forward Magic Team’s unfinished goals and achieve a brighter future.
In summary, the Magic Team’s journey reflects how external events (like COVID-19) and personal conflicts (between FredCentre and Giro) challenged group cohesion. Despite attempts to revive it, shifting dynamics and practical setbacks led to its end, paving the way for a fresh start with the Evonos Team under my leadership.
